The ROTOR RAZ 1  shotcreting machine (hereinafter “ROTOR”) is a professional assembly for production, conveyance and application of refractory concrete spray liners onto ladles, furnaces and other metallurgical equipment with circular cross-sections. ROTOR RAZ 1 is designed for ladles with inner diameters of 2.5m to 4.5m, and RAZ2 for diameters of 1.2m to 3.5m.

The ROTOR rotary shotcreting machine is composed of the following components:
- shotcreting unit
- ROTOR spraying unit
- water and air supply system
- electric distributor
- electric crane pulley block
- remote control

Operation

The dry mixture, supplied in bags, is filled into the shotcreting unit hopper fitted with a bag tearing device. The mixture is then fed with the help of compressed air to the ROTOR spraying unit, which is suspended on the electric pulley block, where it is mixed with water and applied to the surface being lined. The ROTOR unit is suspended on the pulley block of a cantilever crane. Its inner components are cooled by air blow. All system's components are controlled by means of a remote control unit.
